Charity4LIFE is a Chicago based 501c3 non profit. Charity4LIFE's mission is to support and protect street children and empower them to reach their full potential by directly supporting grassroots charitable organizations in third world countries.
Charity4LIFE aims to protect and support children with individual backgrounds of abandonment, extreme poverty, physical and sexual abuse, street living, and threats of forced recruitment in guerrilla groups, drug cartels and sex trafficking.
Charity4LIFE is currently representing organizations in Colombia and Guatemala with a 2011 initiative to increase their support to Haiti and India.

Weekend Warrior Activism* – A style of humanitarian aid that involves working around the 40-hour workweek.
Charity4LIFE encourages the business professional to get involved with humanitarian efforts. We are WEEKEND WARRIOR ACTIVISTS* – Humanitarians who work full time and do what we can in our spare time to make as much as a difference as possible. Charity4LIFE provides fun social outlets for the busy professional to encourage participation in our causes and to join our movement.
How We Do it:
Charity4LIFE visits their organizations on short 3-5 day trips to conduct research, measure contributions, work hands on, meet the organizations volunteers and children supported, and promote social awareness. (Hey we mean it when we say we are Weekend Warrior Activists!)
Charity4LIFE hosts quarterly happy hour fundraisers events. We have a Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer event every Third Thursday of the quarter. We mingle, drink, raffle off items and donate proceeds to the featured organization of support.
Chariy4LIFE hosts several mini social outings in between our fundraisers to encourage group collaboration and social growth. This is where we link up with host organizations for a casual get together. We normally ask for a item donation or participation fee. We've had group runs, volunteer drives, wine parties, flippy cup...you have an idea, we will do it!
Proceeds:
We payout 85% of what we raise and keep remainder for modest operating expenses needed to keep our organization flowing.
